Hiking

Experience a quick ascent of around 1,500 meters with the Hirzer cable car and discover one of the most beautiful hiking paradises in the Passeier Valley.

At the “Klammeben” mountain station, at around 2,000 meters above sea level, the sun-drenched Hirzer high plateau and picturesque hiking trails leading from alpine pasture to alpine pasture await you. Challenging high alpine tours also start from here, such as the coveted Hirzerspitze, which attracts experienced mountaineers to breathtaking peaks.

Prices & Timetable

The modern Hirzer cable car takes you quickly up to an altitude of 2000 meters.

Ticket prices change depending on the route and ticket type, with reduced rates for children aged 6 to 16 and special prices for bicycle transportation and various groups.

There are also season tickets for the Hirzer cable car, with and without paragliding option, as well as special rates for residents of the province of Bolzano and certain municipalities.

Alpine inns & Mountain huts

The alpine inns and mountain huts in the Hirzer region offer a welcome break for every visitor. High up, you can relax and enjoy at the best: be it hearty bacon, refreshing beer, lively conversation or the breathtaking view.

A visit to one of these mountain huts is an essential part of a hike in the Hirzer region.

On the occasion of the “Tallner Sunntig”, the lifts offer an exceptional price reduction on the first Sunday of every month from May to October.
